Kay Parry

Kay Parry is a Managing Director in Banc of California’s Venture Banking Group and a leader of the Fund Finance team. In this role, Ms. Parry provides creative banking solutions to private fund managers and works closely with clients to build long-term partnerships across the venture capital and private investment ecosystem.

Ms. Parry joined Pacific Western Bank in 2010 and became part of Banc of California following the merger in November 2023. With more than 15 years of experience serving the venture and growth equity community throughout the broader Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region, she has developed deep relationships with technology companies, investors, and capital allocators.

Prior to her career in venture banking, Ms. Parry was a member of the investment team for a Washington, D.C.-based family office, where she led and managed investments in early-stage technology companies. She also served on the executive management teams of two technology startups in the Washington metropolitan area and began her career as a strategy consultant with Dean & Company.

Beyond her client-facing responsibilities, Ms. Parry is actively involved in initiatives that expand access to private capital among traditionally underrepresented groups. She supports partnerships with organizations including Beyond The Billion®, Recast Capital, and the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE). She also serves on the bank’s ESG Committee and participates in employee-led efforts focused on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the bank’s stakeholder communities.

Ms. Parry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government, cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
