Mark diTargiani

Mark diTargiani is Managing Director of the Venture Banking Group’s Technology Banking team at Banc of California. He leads debt origination and early-stage account development, supporting venture-backed startups across the western United States.

With 25 years of Silicon Valley experience, Mr. diTargiani has developed deep expertise in sales, business development, and go-to-market strategies. Early in his career, he taught high school English before transitioning to the business world. He has worked with a broad range of companies, from startups to large enterprises, driving growth and scaling operations. Additionally, he founded a firm focused on helping small businesses secure funding and has coached startup founders on expanding their sales efforts.

Mr. diTargiani earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Wesleyan University, where he captained the lacrosse team. For the past two decades, he has helped grow the sport in the San Francisco Bay Area as a youth and high school coach.
