The Grand Prix of Long Beach
DRIVING LONG BEACH’S ECONOMY. IMPACTING COMMUNITY.
Serving the Community and Building for the Future of Tomorrow
With worldwide recognition, the Grand Prix of Long Beach touches the entire community, by generating construction projects and investments, increased retail consumer spending, as well as increases in hospitality and tourism.
Serving the community means being a part of the economy today and building for the future of tomorrow. By partnering, Banc of California and the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach are committed to this future by providing financial literacy and on-the-job training to local students to help them along the path of financial success.
Providing Invaluable Education to Help Plan for the Future
“Our students gain valuable work-based learning experiences through our partnership with the Grand Prix Association and Banc of California,” says Peter Davis, LBUSD assistant superintendent of high schools. “Students enjoy an up-close look at how to build and maintain high-tech race cars, and they learn about the numerous businesses, services and occupations involved in a major event like the Grand Prix. The whole experience is a fun and exciting way to open students’ eyes to an array of career opportunities available to them.”
By partnering, Banc of California and the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach are committed to this future by providing financial literacy and on-the-job training to local students to help them along the path of financial success.
