Lisa Kaskel is Executive Vice President of the Los Angeles Real Estate and Construction group at Banc of California. As a member of the company’s senior leadership, Ms. Kaskel focuses on structured finance and oversees a team of commercial real estate finance professionals with expertise in bridge and construction lending.
Prior to joining Banc of California in 2011, Ms. Kaskel held the role of Vice President at City National Bank, where she honed her expertise in commercial real estate finance. Before that, she began her career at Fremont Investment & Loan as a Credit Analyst, demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication as she advanced to Vice President. During her tenure, Ms. Kaskel successfully originated and managed large, complex loans across all real estate sectors, showcasing her deep knowledge of structured finance and her ability to drive results in a competitive industry.
Ms. Kaskel is an established banking executive and seasoned lending professional with expertise in a wide variety of credit facilities. She is highly skilled in analyzing, underwriting, structuring, originating, and financing various debt instruments, including construction, bridge, and mini-perm loans, as well as letters of credit and revolving debt, both secured and unsecured. Ms. Kaskel has extensive experience with both recourse and non-recourse financing to high-net-worth individuals and entities.
Ms. Kaskel is active in the community. As a member of the Jewish Venture Philanthropy Fund, she helped raise money for grants given to nonprofits that serve their communities, both domestically and abroad. She has also been involved with the Jewish Federation through her fundraising efforts for the Federation’s Real Estate and Construction Network Dinner. She is a regular participant at the Kayo Women’s Real Estate Summit, which unites approximately 200 women leaders in commercial real estate investing for curated networking, educational content and a supportive community atmosphere. Most recently, Ms. Kaskel joined Junior Achievement of Southern California as a Board Member.
Ms. Kaskel earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
