About The Grand Prix Association of Long Beach
The Grand Prix Association of Long Beach was formed in 1975 with the goal of bringing positive publicity to the community and city of Long Beach. Since that time, the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach and the Grand Prix Foundation have been impacting the Long Beach community through the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach event along with various supporting activities they provide to local schools and organizations within the city. Each year, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach attracts businesses, residents and visitors to the city of Long Beach, which has ushered in a period of growth and economic development for the area.
The Grand Prix Association of Long Beach has since gone on to consult other potential Indy Car host cities seeking to replicate the success of the event.
