The Grand Prix of Long Beach
DRIVING LONG BEACH’S ECONOMY. IMPACTING COMMUNITY.
Serving the community means being a part of the economy today and building for the future of tomorrow. By partnering, Banc of California and the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach are committed to this future by providing financial literacy and on-the-job training to local students to help them along the path of financial success.
Providing Invaluable Education to Help Plan for the Future
“Our students gain valuable work-based learning experiences through our partnership with the Grand Prix Association and Banc of California,” says Peter Davis, LBUSD assistant superintendent of high schools. “Students enjoy an up-close look at how to build and maintain high-tech race cars, and they learn about the numerous businesses, services and occupations involved in a major event like the Grand Prix. The whole experience is a fun and exciting way to open students’ eyes to an array of career opportunities available to them.”
By partnering, Banc of California and the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach are committed to this future by providing financial literacy and on-the-job training to local students to help them along the path of financial success. We will continue to grow our investment in community partnerships that have significant positive impact on future generations of California, including investments in high-impact regional organizations such as the Grand Prix of Long Beach.
The ease of doing business is very important to us, and Banc of California understands and provides the banking service to assist us in achieving our goals.
